The Secret Sauce

Why I'm different β€” and why it matters to you.

Big agencies have big overhead. That cost gets passed straight to you. I run lean, stay local, and only charge for what actually helps your business.

πŸ“
I'm local. Like Joe's KC local.
Not a remote team with a fake KC area code. I'm here. When you text me, I text back. No offshore handoffs, no "your account manager is out this week."
🚫
No agency fat. None of it.
No account managers, no project coordinators, no downtown office lease. You pay for the work β€” not the overhead. That's why $499 gets you something that costs $2,000 elsewhere.
🀝
You do your trade. I'll do mine.
You didn't get into your business to become a web developer. So don't. I handle everything from building to hosting β€” you just tell me what you do and I'll make sure the internet knows about it.
πŸ“ž
No ticket system. Ever.
Need to change your phone number on the site? Email me. Something looks off? text me. You get a direct line β€” not a queue with a 3–5 business day response window.
The Process

From cold to cooked in five steps.

No back-and-forth for weeks. No mysterious tech jargon. Five steps and your business is on the web, looking tasty.

1
Fill the Form

Tell me about your business β€” services, phone, location, any photos you've got.

2
Pay the Setup

Setup fee via Stripe. That's when I fire up the smoker and get to work.

3
I Build It

4
You Approve

I send a preview link. You tell me what to tweak. We've got three revision rounds to play with.

5
It's Live

Site goes live, hosting is handled, and I'm a text/email away for anything going forward.

Let's Talk β†’
Most sites go from intake form to live in about a week. I send a first draft within ~48 hours of receiving your setup payment, and from there it's just review and approval rounds. The timeline is mostly up to you β€” the faster you review, the faster you go live.
Not much. Your business name, phone number, the services you offer, your general location, and a few photos if you have them. I write the copy for you so you don't need to send me paragraphs of text β€” just enough to understand what you do and who you serve.
Yes β€” small content updates like changing your phone number, updating your hours, or swapping out a photo are included in the monthly fee. Just text or email me. For larger changes like a major redesign, I'll give you a quick quote first.
Your domain and your content are always yours β€” no matter what. If you ever leave, you keep your domain and I'll hand over all your content. The underlying site template is licensed to you during the engagement, which is standard practice for web design β€” similar to how a photographer doesn't hand over their RAW files. If you cancel, the site comes down, but everything that belongs to your business stays with you.
No hard feelings. Give me 30 days written notice and your current billing cycle will complete before the site comes down. If payments simply stop without notice, the site goes into a grace period before suspension. Either way, your domain and content are always returned to you β€” you're never held hostage.
No long-term contracts. Ever. You sign a simple plain-English service agreement before the work starts β€” it covers who owns what, payment terms, and cancellation policy. After that it's month-to-month. I'd rather earn your business every month than lock you in.
Yes! I focus on simplicity. In general, it's all tucked into one single HTML file. I'll build you something slick and handle pointing your existing domain to the new site. You don't need to figure out how to cancel your old service first β€” we can do it in the right order together.
Every site includes basic SEO setup β€” proper page titles, meta descriptions, local keywords, and clean site structure. That gives you a solid foundation. I also recommend setting up a Google Business Profile (available as an add-on) which is often the fastest way to show up in local search results for your area.
Great! you have the option to go with The Dry Rub package. I'll ask for temporary access to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, wherever it lives) to configure the DNS settings. Takes me about 30 minutes, then I remove my access. You don't need to touch a thing. Keep in mind the Dry Rub package does NOT include the Google Profile setup or Analytics dashboard. They can be purchased separately as add-ons.
The whole process works remotely so yes. I may be focused on the KC area but I'll help anyone. If you're nearby or across the world, no matter how you found me, let's figure out how to get you live.

Behind the Smoker

Just a KC tech guy with a thing for doing it right.

I've spent years deep in technology β€” managing networks, servers, DNS, cloud infrastructure, and everything in between. I'm not an agency with a waiting room, a snack bar, and a two-week project queue. I'm one local person who knows to keep this simple and genuinely cares whether your site makes your phone ring.

"Too many recommended services and contractors have a blank Google search result. I want to fix that."

My whole pitch is simple: you're great at your trade. You shouldn't have to become a web developer too. Hand it off completely β€” I build it, host it, handle the domain, and keep the fire going. You focus on the work you're actually good at.

I don't have a receptionist. I have a phone. Lets cook something up.
